This Site (www.26bristolscouts.org.uk) is provided by 26th Bristol (Northcote) Scouts, registered UK Charity 302156 (“the Group”).

These terms and conditions (‘Terms and Conditions’) apply to your use of the Site.  They are effective from 1 June 2024.

By using this Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Changes

These Terms and Conditions may be changed from time to time, to keep up with current legislation or to reflect how we use the Site.  Your continued use of the website indicates that you agree with any subsequent amendments.  You should check these on a regular basis.

Links to Third-Party Sites

The Site contains links to third-party websites which are not provided by the Group.  The Group makes no representation as to the content or policies of any such website.  It is up to you to check the terms and conditions and privacy policy of those sites, if you choose to use them.

Intellectual Property

The content of the Site is copyright of the Group and includes trademarks belonging to the Group and to The Scout Association. Any copyrights and trademarks belonging to the Scout Association are used with permission.

The content identifying the Scout Association, or third parties, is subject to copyright, design rights and trademarks of said parties.  These Terms and Conditions do not grant any license to use such content.

The content made available on the Site is the property of the Group.  This includes, but is not limited to text, images, documents and anything that contributes to the composition of the Site.

Indemnity

You indemnify and hold the Group and its agents harmless from, and against, all liabilities, damages, costs, losses, or legal fees arising from your use of the Site.

Limitation of Liability

The Group is not liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities, damages, costs, losses, or legal fees, arising from your use of the Site.

Severance

If any part of these Terms and Conditions is found inconsistent or invalid, it will be deemed void and removed.  All other provisions will remain in effect.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
